Honey, Coconut Oil and Lemon
In a bowl, heat the coconut oil. When hot add switch the flame off. Now add in the honey and give it a good stir. This preparation is now added to your tea. Squeeze lemon juice and sip on this homemade cough syrup.
Honey, Onion Juice & Garlic
In a bowl, heal a little onion juice. Switch the flame off and add a pod of garlic. Fry it a little in the juice while it is still hot. Drop this mixture into a cup of warm water and add a spoon of honey. Now sip on this natural cough syrup.
Brown Sugar & Hot Water
Boil a cup of water and wait for it to get hot. When hot, add in two spoons of brown sugar. Allow it to melt and when it is at room temperature drink the mixture, slowly.
Ginger, Garlic & Pepper
The effective homemade cough syrup is this - grated ginger, garlic pods and a dash of pepper all in one cup of hot boiling water. Drink this syrup twice in a day to get rid of your cough.
Olive Oil, Pepper & Honey
Heat a spoon of olive oil. When hot, add in the pepper and stir. When the mixture is cool add in a spoon of honey. Consume this homemade cough syrup recipe to get rid of that nasty feeling.
Honey & Herbal Tea
Drinking two cups of herbal tea twice in a day with a spoon of honey added to the tea will help to get rid of your cough. Sip on warm water to avoid the itchy feeling in your throat.
Hot Lemon Juice
Lemon juice should be consumed if you are beginning to feel your throat hurting. The juice should however be hot. Add in a little sugar or salt for taste.
