Yogurt
This is one of the foods to eat on bloated stomach. Regular intake of yogurt with good bacteria will facilitate the digestion and prevent the belly to bloat. Plain yogurt is the best in this case and if flavouring is required, use only natural flavouring like fruits.
Banana
High sodium intake can also be a reason for a bloated stomach. A banana is one of the good foods to eat to curb bloating. The potassium in the banana can help counter the sodium intake and can balance it in the digestion process. Maintaining a good sodium-potassium level is essential to maintain the water balance.
Rice
Rice is completely digested in the small intestine unlike other starchy substances like wheat, corn and potatoes. Papaya contains a milky white substance called papain, making it one of the foods to eat on bloated stomach. Papain is a good laxative. It is helpful in good bowel movement. Therefore, the next time you feel all bloated up, try and have a papaya to help smoothen your stomach.
