1.Potatoes:
Potatoes contain a lot of starch. Consumption of excess amount of potatoes not just leads to weight gain but it also leads to an increase in the cholesterol level too.
2. Cauliflower:
Cauliflower is one of the major cruciferous vegetables that is commonly available. It contains one of the compounds that blocks the absorption of iodine and leads to decreased metabolism. Hence consumption of high amounts of cauliflower leads to weight gain.
3. Peas:
Consuming green mature peas that are dried and are known as the marrowfat peas should be avoided if you are on a weight loss regime. These kinds of peas are generally dried and processed using additive colours and sodium, that would affect your weight loss regime.
4. Corn:
The fructose contained in corn leads one to weight gain. So if you are on a weight loss regime then it is better to avoid eating corn.
