How to get gorgeous legs? This is a question that haunts most of the women. Well, some of us who have never been to a gym would always wonder what it takes to get that set of 'hot legs' which can make us the 'centre of attraction' and 'talk of the town'.
Well, your goal isn't impossible. It just takes some time and hard work. If you are willing to put in that extra effort, your legs can be sculpted like a super-model's legs. But again, don't expect overnight results because your body needs some time to make your dream come true.
Does Walking Make Your Legs Stronger?
Well, you can perform some simple leg workouts at home if you hate to buy that gym membership which is too expensive. But again, it is better to either know about the basics of performing exercises before you try any stuff at home.
Starting your workout without a warm up session would be a blunder. If you are not aware of such basics, it would be advisable to work with a gym instructor in the starting stages.
Squats
Squats are the first ones to hit anyone's mind when you talk about performing lower body workouts at home. This workout can be done with or without weights and the best thing is that they shape your leg muscles and butt within days.
Sprints
The best way to stimulate your lower body within minutes is through a 2 minute super fast sprint. Run as fast as you can and move your legs will full force. This workout will start changing things in your legs.
Walks
An evening walk is the best thing you can do as a part of your leg workout. You can burn your calories while enjoying a pleasant walk.
Side Sit Ups
Just like squats, this workout will also stimulate your leg muscles by adding some stress on them with the help of your body weight.
Kicks
Do 30 simple plain kicks in the air. Keep your leg straight and lift it in the air. But carefully balance yourself without falling.
Leg Lift Holds
Static holds are a great way to stress your muscles for a given period of time. You just need to lift your leg and hold that position while balancing properly.
Stairs
Climbing stairs up and down is a good workout that your legs love. Give them an opportunity to develop strength and build muscles.
Protein
Consume protein-rich food once you start the above workouts. Be careful when you perform any workout as injuries can prove costly. It is better to workout under the supervision of an expert if you are a beginner.
