8 Exercises That Damage Your Body
While exercising is good for the body, there are some exercises that damage the body in ways which will leave you stunned. According to experts these exercises which are mentioned on the list should not be practiced everyday.
By doing them, you are indirectly harming the joints in your body. The impact which is created by these exercises, in a way, harm the body which leaves you with multiple problems like joint pains, weak bones etc.
It is also believed that spending too much of time on the treadmill is harmful to the legs. Continuous exercise spent on the treadmill for a maximum of 20 minutes straight will only cause harm to the knees. The muscle at the knees will rub off thus leaving you in pain for the rest of your life.

Lifting heavy weights all of a sudden at the gym is not healthy for the shoulders. Likewise, there are other exercises that damage the body. Take a look at how too much of exercise affect your healthy body.
Treadmill
Walking or running on the treadmill for more than 20 minutes at a stretch is not good for your knees and the ankles. Experts state that over a course of time, the bone ruptures at the ankle. Thus, causing weakness in the legs which in turn, will affect your balance.
Cycling
Cycling too has a major impact on one's life. Though cycling is a good exercise to reduce fat at the hips, cycling in one place and at one speed constantly will affect the hips. This is one of the exercises that damage the body over time.
Bench Dips
Beach dips are good for pumping up shoulder strength and reducing the buttock region. However, since all the weight is focused on the shoulders, the ball and socket of the arm is put to danger. Therefore, practicing regular bench dips is not a good idea.
Sit Ups
Sit ups are required for you to get a toned tummy. But, for women especially it is an exercise that harms the body as it requires a lot of strain on the lower back region. If you are suffering from back ache, it is best to avoid this exercise as it cause more harm.
Leg Lifts
Leg lifts are another form of exercise for a toned tummy. It is also good for the thighs, but it is one exercise that harms the back. It ruptures the spine and thus increases the pain in the back region.
Knee Weights
The one exercise that harms the body is knee weights. It puts an extreme amount of shear stress on the knee joint therefore, it strains the tendons. This knee weights also destroys the knee's cartilage when practiced every second day.
Inner & Outer Thighs Press
Outer and inner thigh press is essential for the hips, buttocks and thighs. But it is one exercise that harms the body. Due to the increase of weight while lifting, the knee joints and the bones get rubbed off and become weak.
Upright Moves
The upright move exercise damages the body as it compresses the nerves in the shoulder area and damages the cartilage in the AC joint, which can lead to arthritis over a course of time.
