There are many myths and tales on this as to what not to do on a full stomach. But, based on a few digestive facts, there are few things you shouldn't do after a meal. Care needs to be taken on what to do after a meal as this will help with the digestion of the food.

Digestion of the food is completely different when it comes to a full stomach. Digestion will be much slower when you have had rich food. You will feel heavy for a long time and will even have the urge to skip the next meal. The things you do after a full meal will have different effects on your body. The outcome may be immediate and in some cases, it will take time to show.

The following are some important points on what not to do after a meal. Remember these from the next time onwards after a meal.

The reason is that more blood is drawn into the gastrointestinal tract after eating to help with the digestion. If you go for swimming after a meal, this will cause minor cramps in the stomach.
