Titled 'MAITAKE', P.E.L.L.A. commenced the Lakme Fashion Week 2016 summer resort on day 2. The sustainable and Indian Textiles day saw a collection which was remarkable and out of this world. P.E.L.L.A. who draws inspiration from the transcendence of the mind made this summer collection a grand success.

According to the very talented Priyanka she quotes on this collection "It seeks escape from the real world in exchange of an ideal one." She continues to state, "a subjective experience of the distortion of time changing perception like a still memory in motion.'

Well, this new summer collection is indeed an escape from the real world. On the ramp, you will see anexotic blend of light-weight hand woven pure Eri, Tassar, Ahimsa silks, Cashmere and Pashmina in warm beige hues.

P.E.L.L.A. designs captures the emotion of the collection. It is believed that the surface design manipulation with wood and silk thread work adds on to the experience of wearing P.E.L.L.A.
