Mushroom Manchurian Gravy Recipe

Mushroom Manchurian Gravy Recipe: Indian Style

Mushroom Manchurian Gravy Recipe

Serves: 3-4
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30-45 minutes

Ingredients

1. Mushrooms- 200 gms
2. Onions- 3 (sliced)
3. Capsicum- 1 (cut into medium sized pieces)
4. Green chillies- 4-5 (halved)
5. Ginger- 1 inch (chopped)
6. Garlic- 8-9 pods (chopped)
7. Tomatoes- 2 (pureed)
8. Vinegar- a few drops
9. Soy sauce- 2tbsp
10. Salt- as per taste
11. Schezwan sauce- 1tsp
12. Oil- 2tbsp
13. Red chilli powder- 1tsp
14. Turmeric powder- 1tsp

Procedure

1. Cut the mushroom into halves and then marinate with red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and 1tbsp oil. Leave for 20-25 minutes,
2. Heat 1tbsp oil in a frying pan. Once hot, add onions and saute for a minute.
3. Now add ginger, garlic and mix well. Cook for another minute.
4. Add capsicum pieces and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
5. Sprinkle salt and add vinegar.
6. Now pour schezwan sauce, tomato puree, green chillies, soy sauce and mix well. Add marinated mushrooms as well.
7. Cook the gravy for about 2-3 minutes on a medium flame. Once the gravy thickens, turn off the flame.

Mushroom manchurian gravy is ready to eat. Serve this Indian style manchurian hot with noodles or fried rice.
