Healthy Paneer Manchurian Recipe

Milk and milk products are a part of our daily meal. Paneer especially is a much loved dairy product in most of the households. It can be cooked using many different ingredients since it absorbs almost every flavour and tastes extremely delicious in all its forms.

Though the list of paneer recipes is endless, here we have picked a simple paneer recipe which is cooked in the Indo-Chinese style. Nowadays we all are extremely conscious about our health, so this healthy paneer manchurian recipe is a perfect item to be included in your menu. This recipe of healthy paneer manchurian is cooked with a lot of green vegetables and very less oil which makes it easy to be digested and at the same time finger-licking delicious.

Ingredients

  • Paneer- 250 gms (cut into cubes)
  • Cornflour- 3tbsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste- 1tbsp
  • Green chilli paste- 1tsp
  • Onion- 1 (diced)
  • Capsicum- 2 (diced)
  • Spring onions- 1 bunch (chopped)
  • Soy sauce- 2tbsp
  • Tomato sauce- 2tbsp
  • Garlic- 3 cloves (chopped)
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Oil- 2tbsp
  • Water- 1 cup

Procedure

  1. In a bowl add two tablespoon of cornflour, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste, salt and half a cup of water. Make a thick batter.
  2. Coat the paneer cubes with this batter.
  3. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan and fry these paneer cubes for about 3-4 minutes on each side on medium flame. Make sure all the sides turn golden brown.
  4. Transfer the paneer cubes to a plate and keep it aside.
  5. Heat one tablespoon of oil in the pan and add onions. Fry till they turn golden brown.
  6. Add chopped garlic, capsicum, spring onions and salt. Cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Now add the soy sauce and tomato sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  8. Dilute one tablespoon of cornflour in about half a cup of water and pour this mixture into the pan.
  9. As the mixture starts to thicken, add the fried paneer cubes.
  10. Mix lightly and make sure the paneer does not break.
  11. Once done, switch off the flame and serve.

Your healthy paneer manchurian recipe is ready to be served. You can serve it as an appetizer or with noodles.
