There are many types of chutneys which are prepared using different ingredients. From sweet and tangy tamarind chutney to the spicy green coriander chutney, there are many ingredients that can be used for the preparation.
Coriander chutney is the most the popular chutney which is served as a side dish with various food items. Be it masala idli or rice, you can use the green chutney to make the food taste all the more delicious. There are different ways to prepare coriander chutney. Here are the two most popular ways to prepare coriander chutney at home.

Traditional Coriander Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
1.
Coriander
leaves-
1
bunch

Tomato-
1
(peeled
and
cut
into
4
halves)
3.
Garlic-
5-6
pods
(peeled)
4.
Green
chillies-
3-4
5.
Cumin
seeds-
1tsp
6.
Salt-
as
per
taste
Procedure
1.
Wash
the
coriander
leaves
in
running
water
until
clean.
Wash
properly
so
that
there
is
no
mud.
2.
In
a
grinder,
add
coriander
leaves,
tomato,
garlic,
green
chillies
and
cumin
seeds.
3.
Sprinkle
salt
as
per
taste.
4.
Add
¼
cup
water
and
ground
into
a
paste.
5.
Once
done,
add
1tsp
lemon
juice
to
make
it
spicy
and
tangy.

Curd-
1tbsp
7.
Salt-
as
per
taste
Procedure
1.
Wash
the
coriander
leaves
in
running
water
until
clean.
Wash

so
that
there
is
no

2.
In
a
grinder,
add
coriander
leaves,
curd,
green
chillies
and
cumin
seeds.
3.
At
the
end
add
bhujia
and
ground
nuts.
4.
Ground
into
a
paste.
The
chutney
will
look
a
little
creamy
white
due
to
the
curd.
