Easy Vegetable bath Recipe – A Balanced Lunch Box Meal For Kids

Ingredients:

  1. ' cup carrots (sliced long)
  2. ' cup green peas
  3. ' cup capsicum (sliced long)
  4. ' cup potatoes (sliced long)
  5. 2-3 cup rice (boiled)
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 2-3 teaspoons of oil

Masala:

  1. ' cup roasted gram
  2. 2-3 dried red chilies
  3. Pinch of asafoetida
  4. ' dry coconut (grated)

Garnish:

  1. Lemon juice

How To Make Vegetable Bath?

1. Fry the vegetables in a teaspoon of oil and boil them for 30 minutes on simmer.
2. Once the sliced vegetable change color, remove from the stove and drain all the excess water.
3. Grind the masala into fine powder and add to the plain rice.
4. Add salt, boiled vegetables and mix well.
5. Before serving, add a few drops on lemon juice and mix well. Tasty instant masala rice ready to serve.
