Methi (Fenugreek) is the herb for the season as it helps in relieving many summer related problems like hair loss, diabetes, obesity, gastric problems etc. Methi is known for its unique taste and when added as an ingredient with rice tastes unbelievably excellent. Take a look at how to prepare the tasty methi groundnut rice recipe.

Methi Groundnut Rice Recipe -

Ingredients:

1. 2 cups rice (boiled)

2. 1 cup methi leaves (finely chopped)

3. 1/2 cup groundnuts (or cashews)

4. 2 tsp oil

5. 1 tsp urad dal

6. 1 tsp gram dal

7. 1 tsp mustard seeds

8. Salt to taste

9. Green chillies (chopped)

Methi Groundnut Rice Recipe Preparation :

1. Fry chopped methi leaves in a teaspoon of oil until the color of the leaves change.

2. In a another pan, fry mustard seeds, gram dal, urad dal, chillies, groundnut well and add the fried methi leaves to the mixture. Leave the mixture aside to cool.

3. Mix boiled rice with the mixture and add salt. Tasty methi groundnut rice is ready.

4. Serve the methi groundnut rice immediately.
