Chinese Fried Rice With Soy Sauce Recipe

Chinese cuisine is popular worldwide for its lip smacking dishes. Be it the noodles, momos, rolls or fried rice, Chinese cuisine has something for every kind of foodie. For example, if you are on a diet, you can have steamed momos (veg or non-veg). Similarly, foodies who love to eat spicy foods can rely on manchurians or dishes made with soy sauce.

Chinese cuisine is very popular for the usage of soy sauce. Noodles, manchurians, snacks and fried rice, all have at least few drops of soy sauce. Soy sauce not only adds a dark brown colour to the dish but also makes it aromatic and delicious. Chinese fried rice is a popular main course recipe. There are many Chinese recipes for preparing fried rice. While few add soy sauce, few keep it simple with vegetables and little spices. We decided to give you a Chinese fried rice recipe with soy sauce. It is easy to prepare and filling too.

Chinese Fried Rice With Soy Sauce Recipe

Serves: 3-4
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Rice- 1-2 cups (boiled)
  • Onions- 2-3 (sliced)
  • Capsicum- 1 (finely chopped)
  • Carrot- 1 (finely chopped)
  • Fava beans- 8-10 (finely chopped)
  • Green chillies- 4 (finely chopped)
  • Soy sauce- 2tbsp
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Ajinomotto- a pinch
  • Oil- 2-3tbsp

Procedure

  • Heat oil in a deep bottomed frying pan. Saute onions in it for a minute.
  • Now add other vegetables namely, carrots, capsicum, fava beans and green chillies. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes. Keep mixing at short intervals to allow even cooking.
  • Sprinkle salt and add soy sauce. Mix well and cook for another minute.
  • Now add the cooked rice and mix well so that the sauce is well mixed up with the rice granules. Cook for another minute.

Chinese fried rice with soy sauce is ready to eat. Serve it hot with manchurian gravy.
