Baby Corn Pulao Recipe – Tasty & Filling Recipe

Ingredients for baby corn pulao recipe:

  • 1 cup basmati rice (wash & soak fro 30 minutes)
  • 2 medium sized onions (sliced into long slices)
  • 6 cobs of tender baby corn
  • 1 small cup of green peas
  • 5-6 green chillies (finely chopped or sliced into two halves)
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • ' “ cinnamon
  • 1 pod cardamom (crushed)
  • 2-3 cloves (lavang)
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp dhania powder
  • 1 tsp jeera powder
  • Bay leaves
  • 1-2 tbsp vegetable oil

How to prepare baby corn pulao?

  • Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry baby corn till they turn golden brown. Set aside.
  • Tip in sliced onions into the pan and fry.
  • Next add the ginger garlic paste, green chillies and peas.
  • Next add all the dry spices.
  • After you get the aroma of the spices, add the chilli, jeera, dhania and garam masala powder.
  • Add the baby corn and rice and cook till rice is soft.
  • Garnish with chopped corainder and mint leaves and serve hot.
