Stuffed Paneer Sandwich: Breakfast Recipe

Sandwich is the most popular breakfast dish in most of the households. It is easy to make, is filling and can be a great dish for dieters as well. Sandwiches can vary as per choice and taste. You can either have plain toasted bread with scrambled eggs or add some stuffing in between the bread slices. You can either use vegetables or some masala for stuffing the sandwich toast. Vegetarians can sue a large variety of ingredients for stuffing their toast sandwiches. From aloo bread sandwich to paneer stuffed toasts, you have a lot to try and experiment.

If you are a paneer fan, then here is a quick and filling breakfast sandwich recipe using paneer as one of the chief ingredients. Here the paneer is fried using some onions, green chillies and aromatic spices. Then the stuffing is placed in between the bread slices and then toasted. Stuffed Paneer Sandwich: Breakfast Recipe

Serves: 8-10 sandwiches
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 25-30 minutes

Ingredients

  • Paneer- 100gms
  • Bread slices- 8-10
  • Onions- 2 (sliced)
  • Capsicum- ½ (chopped)
  • Green chilli- 2 (chopped)
  • Turmeric powder- 1tsp
  • Red chilli powder- 1tsp
  • Tomato sauce- 2tsp
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Oil- 1tsp
  • Butter- for toasting

Procedure

  • Heat oil in a frying pan. Now saute the onions in it for about 2 minutes.
  • Now add the capsicum and green chilli. Cook on a medium flame for another 3-4 minutes. Add turmeric powder and salt.
  • Meanwhile, take the paneer and crumble them finely using your fingers. Keep it aside.
  • Add red chilli powder, tomato sauce into the pan and mix well. Now add the crumbled paneer into the pan and mix well so that the ingredients are absorbed by the paneer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes. Put the pan off flame.
  • Heat a toaster.
  • Now spread the stuffing on one slice of the bread. Cover it with a bread slice and then grease with butter.
  • Toast the bread slices in the toaster.

Paneer stuffed sandwiches are ready to eat. Serve them hot with tomato sauce.
