Serves: 3-4
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

1. All purpose flour- 2 cups
2. Mushrooms- 6 (finely chopped)
3. Cauliflower- 1 cup (finely chopped)
4. Carrots- 2 (chopped)
5. Garlic- 5-6 pods (crushed)
6. Water- 2 cups
7. Salt- as per taste

Procedure

1. Knead a dough of flour using water. Now cover the kneaded dough with a cling cloth and leave it for 10-15 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, mix all the remaining ingredients namely cauliflower, mushrooms, salt, carrots and garlic in a bowl. Keep the stuffing aside.
3. Knead the dough again and then break them into small round portions. Roll each portion into a small ball. Keep the middle of the rolled ball thick to create a base and prevent it from breaking. Keep the edges of the ball much thinner.
4. Put the stuffing in the middle of the rolled ball. Wet your fingers and close the ball completely.
5. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough and stuffing. Place the momos into a large steamer and over the boiling water. If you want, you can grease the steamer dish with a little oil to prevent the dumplings from sticking.
6. Make sure the momos are placed at a little distance and do not stick to each other. Steam the momos for 8-10 minutes on a low flame.

Steamed mushroom momos are ready to eat. Serve them hot with tomato ketchup and soup.
