Spinach Cutlet Recipe For Breakfast

Spinach Cutlet Recipe For Breakfast

Here is the spinach cutlet recipe, you need to try this morning for breakfast.

Serves - 3
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • Spinach - 2 cups (chopped)
  • Potato- 1 (boiled and mashed)
  • Oil- 2tbsp
  • Onion- 1 (chopped)
  • Chillies- 2 (sliced)
  • Ginger Paste- 1tbsp
  • Garam Masala- ½ tsp
  • Gram flour- 1 cup
  • Breadcrumbs- 2 cups
  • Water- ½ cup
  • Oil- for deep frying
  • Salt to taste

Procedure

  1. First heat the oil in a kadai. When the oil is hot, drop in the chopped onions, green chillies and the ginger paste.
  2. Fry all the ingredients well over a medium flame.
  3. When the ingredients is cooked, add in the spinach leaves and stir well on a low flame for about 2 to 3 minutes. When it is done, switch the flame off and keep it aside.
  4. Now to this mixture, add in the potato, garam masala and the salt to taste. Mix all the ingredients well using your fingers to make a fine dough.
  5. Make round shapes out of the dough.
  6. In another bowl mix gram flour, salt and water. Make sure that the mixture is not that watery.
  7. When ready, dip the cutlet in the flour mixture.
  8. Make sure the cutlet is coated with the flour mixture. Now dip it in the bread crumbs and deep fry it in hot oil over a medium flame.

Your spinach cutlet is now ready to eat. You can make a healthy sandwich with this lovely green cutlet too with a dash of tomato sauce as a topping.
