Pumpkin Ginger Bread Recipe For Breakfast
Pumpkin is considered to be one of the most tastiest vegetables when cooked with our Indian spices. This pumpkin ginger bread recipe is easy to prepare and not time consuming. The ginger constituency in the recipe is good for digestion and for constipation as well. If you have had a any problems related to constipation, this breakfast is ideal for you to make. Pumpkin and ginger will help get rid of your bloated stomach too. Ingredients
Eggs - 4
White sugar - 2 cups
Brown sugar - 1 cup
Flour - 3 cup
Vegetable oil - 1 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Pumpkin puree - 1 cup
Ginger paste - 2 tsp
Spice powder - 1 tsp
Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
Cloves powder - 1 tsp
Baking powder - 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Procedure
- Preheat the oven to about 175 degrees C.
- Grease two pans with a small amount of butter.
- In one large bowl, combine the sugars, the oil and eggs.
- Beat the above mixture until it becomes smooth.
- Mix in the water and pumpkin until the mixture become fluffy.
- In the other medium bowl, combine the flour, ginger, all spice, cinnamon, cloves, baking powder, salt and until fully mixed.
- Add the flour mixture to pumpkin mixture and slowly mix until it is becomes a thick paste.
- Divide the two batters into the greased pans and bake for 1 hour.
- When done, cut into thin bread like slices.
