Paneer Kanda Poha Recipe For Breakfast

Serves: 3
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Poha - 2 Cups
  • Paneer - 1/2 Cup (chopped)
  • Onion - 1 (diced)
  • Green Chillies- 2 (sliced)
  • Cashewnuts - 12-15 (chopped)
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry Leaves - few
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - To Taste
  • Peppercorns- 1/4 tsp (crushed)
  • Lemon Juice - 1/2 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Cilantro - 2 tbsp (chopped)

Procedure

1. Take a wok, drop in the oil to the wok and heat it over a medium flame. When the oil is hot, add in the cumin seeds and allow to splutter.
2. Now add in the chopped onion, green chilli, curry leaves and saute the ingredients well for a minute of two.
3. To this mixture, add in the cashews. Mix the cashews well with the ingredients and allow it to cool until you see the onions becomes soft.
3. To the wok, add in the paneer and suate the paneer until you see it turning to a golden brown. Let the ingredients cook well for about 2 minutes on a medium flame.
4.Add in the turmeric powder, salt and mix the ingredients.
5. To the wok, add in the poha and mix well using a spatula. Add to the dish the crushed pepper, sugar, lemon juice and mix well to combine everything and allow it to cook for a minute or so.
6. When down, switch the flame off and garnish it with cilantro.

Your paneer kanda poha recipe is now ready to eat. Serve hot and enjoy your healthy breakfast.
