Healthy Roti Poha Recipe For Breakfast

All you need to do in order to make this delicious breakfast recipe is to have a standby of extra rotis from the previous night. These rotis should neither be too hard to or soft, since you will need to chop it up into fine pieces to make this famous and healthy breakfast recipe.

Healthy Roti Poha Recipe For Breakfast

Serves: 3
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Rotis - 4 (torn into pieces )
  • Turmeric powder - 1⁄2 tsp
  • Potato - 1 (boiled)
  • Peas - 2 tbsp
  • Salt To Taste

FOR TEMPERING

  1. Refined oil - 2tbsp
  2. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  3. Curry Leave - 5
  4. Green Chilli - 2 (slit)

Procedure

  1. In a wok, heat oil and wait for it to get a little hoe. When the oil starts to show little bubbles, add in all the ingredients which is placed under tempering. Using a flat spoon, sauté the ingredients which is placed in the wk and fry them well, till the masala odour get stronger.
  2. Now, add to the wok the boiled potatoes and the matar too. Mix the ingredients well and allow for it to cook on a low medium flame.
  3. Add in the tempering ingredient and allow the seeds to splutter.
  4. When it starts to cook well, drop in the cut pieces of rotis, turmeric powder and season the contents with salt.
  5. You will need to stir fry for about 5 to 7 minutes until it is fully cooked.

Your roti poha is now ready to eat. You can enjoy this mouth watering dish with a cup of hot tea.
