It is basically a breakfast item, but we sharing it this noon as its a rich recipe. Urad and chawal ke cheele are rich in protein, carbohydrates and fibres.

Urad And Chawal Ke Cheele

Serves: 3
Preparation Time: 4-5 hrs
Cooking Time: 5 minutes

All You Need

  • White urad flour-100g
  • Rice flour-125g
  • Sugar to taste
  • Cashew powder (thick)-2 big spoon
  • Cardamom powder1-small spoon
  • Milk 400-500gm
  • Desi ghee as required.
Urad And Chawal Ke Cheele

Procedure:
1. Mix up urad flour, rice flour, cashew powder and cardamom.
2. Add milk to the mixture and make paste and store for 4-5 hrs.
3. Take the paste, add a small amount of water to loosen it to be spread on the pan.
4. Take a pan, heat it at low steam, and put one spoon of desi ghee and spread it all over.
5. With a big spoon, take the prepared paste and spread on the pan like dhosa and leave it for 4-5 minutes.
6. After the upper part gets dry, spread some desi ghee on it.
7. Take one spatula to turn it around and again leave for 2 minutes.
8. Now take it off the pan, plate it and serve hot.

Tip: Soak urad flour for few hours before making a batter.
