Basic Tips For Cooking Chinese Food
1. Before you begin with cooking, try to vary the fresh meat and vegetables in a dish. The Chinese believe in bringing balance to cooking by introducing a variety colours, flavours and textures.
2. The chinese use a lot of sauces so keep all the sauces ready with clean and chopped vegetables.
3. All that you need to cook Chinese food is a wok or a peking pan. There is no food that isn't stir fried.
4. The Chinese use a lot of soy and soy extracts like tofu, soy milk etc. Wash tofu well and drain so that it absorbs flavors when mixed with spices.
5. They generally fry everything before serving. They use certain ingredients like ajinomoto, cornstarch, ginger and sauces to make the dish authentically there's.
