Food garnishing or food art should a little unique for the upcoming Rakhi festival. Making delicious dishes is a different thing but the arrangement also adds a lot to the special meal. Garnishing Tips For Rakhi Feast -

1. On sweet delicacies, you can make tiny edible rakhis on pedas and burfi.
You Will Need:
1. Grated Coconut
2. Honey/Sugar Syrup
3. Food colors
4. Cherries
Procedure: Make a rakhi design on the burfi or peda and give an outline with the sugar syrup.
Sprinkle grated coconut on the design.
Place a cherry at the centre and your tiny edible rakhis are ready.

2. On Rasagullas and Chum chums, you can garnish with colored sugar syrup and foil.
You will Need:
1. Sugar Syrup
2. Food Colors
3. Silver Foil
Procedure: Add your favorite food color into the syrup and make a design of rakhi on these sugar soaked sweet delicacies. While serving you can paste some silver foil.

3. For fruit salads, pastries and cakes, use fruit zest and slices to make it look like rakhis.
You Will Need:
1. Apple, banana, guava and watermelon slices.
2. Chocolate Syrup
3. Lemon or orange zest.
Procedure: Arrange the zest like rakhi bands and place the fruit slices one on another. This will make it look like a grand edible rakhi.
