Tomato Shorba Recipe – Top Rated Monsoon Appetizer

Ingredients:

  1. 5-6 Tomatoes
  2. 2 tsp besan (Bengal gram flour)
  3. 1/2 fresh coconut (grated)
  4. 1 tsp fresh ginger paste
  5. 1 tsp garlic paste
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  7. 1 tsp coriander seeds
  8. 2 red chillies
  9. 1 tsp sugar
  10. 1 tbsp ghee
  11. salt to taste

For the garnish:
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)

How To Make Tomato Shorba?

  1. In a pan, fry coriander seeds, jeera, red chilles, cumin seeds with a teaspoon of ghee. Grind it into powder.
  2. Grind tomatoes, garlic, ginger into puree, cook the mixture and strain well.
  3. Add grated coconut, besan water (for thickening), ground masala, sugar and salt. Bring the mixture to boil.
  4. Sprinkle coriander on top and serve hot. Tasty tomato shorba recipe is ready to serve.
