Apple Fruit Soup That Is Healthy

The saying ' An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Away' was first started in the 19th century. The apples can reduce the risk of certain types of deadly diseases like that colon cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer. Compared to other fruits the apple contains low amounts of vitamins C but they are relatively a good source of other antioxidant compounds.

Fruit soups are served warm or cold depending on the recipe. Many recipes of cold soups are served when fruit is in season during hot weather. Some of the fruit soups include milk, cream, savory dumplings, spices and even alcohol beverages. The apple is one such tasty fruit that is juicy enough to make lovely soup.

You will need :-
16 chopped apples
5 cups of water
' tsp of grated lemon peel
1 piece of cinnamon stick
¼ cup of maple syrup
1 tsp of arrowroot
1tsp of lemon juice
¼ cup of white wine
' cup of sour cream

This soup is easy to make, you have to :-

  1. In a pan , add in the chopped apples, the water , the lemon peel, cinnamon sticks and the maple syrup and keep on a low flame.
  2. After 20 minutes, when the apples are tender, remove the cinnamon sticks.
  3. Take the contents from the pan and blend it well in a blender.
  4. Remove one cup of the mixture and combine it with the arrowroot.
  5. When you see the soup beginning to thicken , add in the mixture and stir with lemon juice and the white wine.
  6. Now heat for some time and let it come to a boil.
  7. Remove from the pan, and serve with a spoonful of sour cream.

The fruity soup is now ready . Eat and enjoy.
