You must be craving to taste a delicious soup recipe this monsoon season. Apart from being a yummy appetizer, soups are also very healthy. Today we will prepare a non vegetarian wonton soup recipe. This is a very filling and nutritious soup recipe with a lot of vegetables and meat in it. You also need some wonton sheets to make wonton soup. So if your kid does not like to have vegetables then try this non vegetarian soup recipe to feed them the same with a twist in the wonton soup. This non vegetarian soup recipe is extremely yummy and delicious.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
- Butter- 3-4tbsp
- Onions- 2 cups (finely chopped)
- Garlic Flakes-2tbsp
- Spinach- 5-6 cups (finely chopped)
- Spring Onions- 2 cups (finely chopped)
- Vegetable Stock- 7-8 cups
- Chilli Sauce- 2tbsp
- Soy Sauce- 2-3tbsp
- Pork- 1 cup (boiled)
- Wonton Sheets- 1 packet
- Cream- 1 can
- Black Pepper- 1tbsp
- Salt- To taste
For The Wonton Soup
- Place a frying pan over a gas oven and add 2tbsp of butter to it.
- Now add the chopped onions, garlic flakes and some salt to the same pan and fry on a low flame till golden brown.
- Add the spring onions, spinach, 1tbsp of chilli sauce and 1½tbsp of soy sauce to the same pan. Fry on a low flame for 3-4 minutes.
- Now add the vegetable stock to it. Let it simmer on a low flame for 4-5 minutes.
- Meanwhile take the wonton sheets out of the packet and place them on a butter paper. Cover with a wet sheet of cotton cloth so that they do not dry up.
- Now take the boiled pork in a medium sized container and add 1tbsp of garlic flakes, 1tbsp chilli sauce, ½ tbsp soy sauce, ½tbsp black pepper and some salt to it. Mix all the ingredients well.
- Scoop 1tbsp of this pork mixture to the middle of each wonton sheet and fold the sides so that it forms a triangle.
- Drop all the wonton wraps into the soup and let it boil for another 5 minutes over a low flame. Turn off the gas oven.
- Your non vegetarian wonton soup recipe is now ready.
For The Serving
- Pour the wonton soup into 4 soup bowls.
- Spread 1tbsp of cream over each and sprinkle black pepper.
- Serve this non vegetarian soup hot.
