All you need

  • Boiled shredded chicken- 1 cup
  • Chicken stock- 4 cups
  • Cornflour- 4tbsp
  • Coriander leaves- 1tbsp (chopped)
  • Cabbage- 2tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Capsicum- 2tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Green chillies- 2 (finely chopped)
  • Mushrooms- 2tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Spring onion- 2 sprigs (finely chopped)
  • French beans- 2tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Ginger- 1tsp (grated)
  • Garlic- 1tsp (chopped)
  • Black pepper- 1tsp
  • Soy sauce- 1tbsp
  • Ajinomoto- a pinch
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Oil- 1tbsp
  • Crispy fried noodles- for garnish

Procedure

1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the ginger, coriander leaves, garlic, and green chilies for 2 minutes.

2. Add all the vegetables, mushrooms, pepper, ajinomoto and salt, fry for 2 more minutes.

3. Now add the cooked chicken to this vegetable mixture and mix well.

4. Add the chicken stock, soy sauce and salt to it.

5. Bring it to a boil, reduce the heat.

6. Mix the cornflour with a little water and add it to the soup. Stir continuously until it thickens slightly.

7. Once done, switch off the flame and top the soup with fried noodles.

Chicken manchow soup is ready to be served.

Without the crispy fried noodles, the soup is a perfect option for weight loss. The soup contains all the important nutrients. Pregnant women should avoid ajinomoto.

Tip
You can also add one egg white to the soup before you take it off the flame.
