Lemon Tea For Weight Loss

Serves: 4-5
Preparation time: 8-10 minutes

Ingredients

  • Black tea leaves- 1tbsp (you can also use 2 plain tea bags)
  • Lemon- 1
  • Cinnamon- ½ inch stick
  • Honey- ½ tbsp
  • Lemon slice- 5-6 (for garnishing)

Procedure

  • Boil water in a teapot.
  • Add the black tea leaves or soak the teabags.
  • Add the lemon juice, honey and cinnamon into the teapot. Boil for about 3 minutes.
  • After steeping, strain into cups and garnish with lemon slices.

The lemon tea is ready to drink. This weight loss tea can be either served hot or chilled. However, it is best to have hot lemon tea as it breaks down fat deposits from the body and also protects the throat from infections.
