Moong Dal Samosa Recipe

Ingredients:

For Dough:

  1. 2 cups maida
  2. Salt to taste
  3. ' tsp ajwain
  4. 5-6 tsp ghee
  5. Oil for deep fry

Stuffing:

  1. 1/2 cup moong dal (boiled and mashed)
  2. ' cup aloo (potatoes boiled and mashed)
  3. 3-4 green chilies
  4. 1 tsp ginger paste
  5. 1/2 tsp chili powder
  6. Pinch of turmeric
  7. ' chaat masala
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1 tsp tamarind juice
  10. Chopped coriander

How To Make Moong Dal Samosa?

1. Mix all the ingredients listed in the stuffing.
2. Mix all the ingredients listed for dough and soak it for about half an hour.
3. Make small balls of the dough and roll it into oval shaped puri. Cut it exactly half.
4. Pick one of the halves and stuff the filling, shape the potato stuffed pastry into triangles and fry them golden brown.
