Egg Cheese Roll Recipe For Breakfast

Here is how you make the egg cheese roll for breakfast.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Eggs- 2 (beaten)
  • Cheese- 8 slices
  • Bread- 8 slices
  • Onion- 1 (chopped)
  • Cornflour- 2tbsp
  • Ginger- 1 pinch (grated)
  • Chilli powder- ½tsp
  • Chaat masala- ½tsp
  • Butter- 1tbsp
  • Oil- 2tbsp
  • Lettuce leaves- 4 leaves

Procedure

  1. To get started, apply a little butter on the lettuce leave and keep it aside.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs. Add in the chopped onion, green chillies and grated ginger.
  3. Beat the eggs with the ingredients which has been added to the bowl. Now mix in the chaat masala and whisk it again.
  4. Mix the ingredients well so that they form a thick batter. When the batter is formed, keep it aside.
  5. Now dilute the cornflour with water in another bowl.
  6. Take the slices of bread and begin to place the slice of cheese on each slice.
  7. Now place the mixed ingredients which is in the bowl over the slice of bread and make a roll with the cornflour that is underneath the slice of bread.
  8. Prepare all the rolls and keep it aside.
  9. Now heat oil in a flat pan and drop in the rolls. Fry the rolls gently over a medium flame until they turn a golden brown in colour.
  10. When they are fried, place them on a oil absorbent paper.
  11. Place the buttery lettuce leaves at the side of the dish.

This delicious egg cheese roll needs to be eaten when hot. You can enjoy the egg cheese roll along with tomato sauce or green chutney.
