Favorite Oil Free Recipe – Nuchinunde

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup toor dal (soaked for 4 hours)
  2. 1/2 cup fresh coconut (grated)
  3. ' cup onion (chopped) [optional]
  4. 2-3 green chilies (chopped)
  5. 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  6. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  7. 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
  8. 2-3 strands coriander (finely chopped)
  9. 1 strand curry leaves
  10. Salt according to taste

How To Prepare This Fat Free Recipe?

  1. Coarsely grind all the above ingredients (except onion and coriander) and make small balls (ping pong size) of the mixture. (Combine onions and chopped coriander while making balls)
  2. Steam cook the balls for 15 to 20 minutes and the tasty oil free nuchinunde recipe is ready.

Relish the tasty nuchinunde with coriander or pudina chutney.
