Spicy: Chepala Pulusu Recipe For Lunch
This afternoon we are going to teach you a simple fish recipe - chepala pulusu. It is spicy and yummy. The spices that are added to this chepala pulusu recipe will blow your mind as well. It is best served with coconut rice or plain rice too. This chepala pulusu does not take too much of your time and the best thing about this fish recipe is you need not have any utensils. Just one bowl to prepare the fish and thats about it.

All You Need
- Fish - ½ kg
- Tamarind - 3 pieces (soak in water)
- Green Chillies- 4 (sliced)
- Onion - 1 (chopped)
- Chilli Powder- 1 tbsp
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander - 1 sprig (chopped)
- Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
- Jeera Powder - 1 tsp
- Poppy seeds powder - 1tsp
- Cardamom - 3
- Clove - 4
- Cinnamon - 2
- Garlic - 1 tsp
- Curry Leaves - 3
Procedure
- Make a paste from - poppy seeds powder ,cardamom, cinnamon, clove and garlic.
- In a bowl add the washed fish, add in the turmeric powder. Now add in the green chillies, onion, chilli powder, coriander powder, and jeera powder. Mix all these ingredients well.
- Now add in a little oil to the fish bowl and also add in the paste.
- Now on a low flame, place the bowl and allow it to cook.
- Add in salt to taste.
- Now add to the bowl and allow it to cook. Make sure that the gravy is not that thick.
- Close the lid and leave on the flame for 10 minutes
- After 5 minutes check the dish and then add in the curry leaves.
- Pour in the tamarind water to the dish and continue to cook it.
- Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
