Mutton Dosa Recipe For Breakfast

Serves: 4
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

Idli rice - 1 cup
Urad dal - ½ cup
Mutton Kheema - ½ cup
Green peas - ½ cup
Green chillies - 2 (sliced)
Turmeric powder - ½ tbsp
Chilli powder - 1tbsp
Pepper powder - 1tbsp
Curry leaves - 5
Cinnamon - 1
Clove - 2
Oil - 2tbsp
Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. You first need to soak the dal and rice in clean water for five hours.
  2. After soaking the water, grind the rice and dal into a coarse paste to make the dosa batter.
  3. Now keep the dosa batter aside for fermentation.
  4. In a pan, heat 2 tsp of oil, add in the cinnamon and cloves and allow these two ingredients to pop up.
  5. Fry the ingredients well in the oil. Now add in the green chillies and the curry leaves. Saute the ingredients for a minute or so.
  6. Add to the ingredients the minced mutton, spice powders and salt taste. Fry the mixture for a couple of minutes.
  7. Reduce the flame of the stove until the mutton is cooked. You can add in a little more oil if you need the mutton to roast a little more.
  8. Now add in the green peas and fry for another 3 minutes.
  9. When the mixture is done, drop it into the dosa batter.
  10. Prepare the dosas with the help of a frying pan and oil added to the sides of the pan for it to cook well.
  11. When the mutton dosa is ready, serve it with thick mutton gravy.
