Green Pepper Chicken Curry Recipe

Today Boldsky shares with you an easy chicken curry recipe. This delicious green pepper chicken gravy is spicy and should be paired up with a rich pulav recipe.

a
dab

yogurt

fresh
cream

enhance
the
taste
of
this
chicken
gravy.

All You Need
- Chicken - 500 gms (raw)
- Bell Pepper - 2 (sliced)
- Onion - 1 (chopped)
- Tomato - 1 (chopped)
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Green Chilli - 2 (sliced into two)
- Spices - cardamom, cinnamon and clove (all 2-3 nos)
- Curd or Fresh Cream - 2tbsp
- Water- 1 cup
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Procedure
- Add oil in a pressure cooker.
- Wait for the oil to turn hot and then add in the spices.
- Saute the spices and add the green chillies. Fry well.
- Now add the chopped onions and fry till they turn golden brown in colour.
- Once cooked, add the chopped tomato and saute well.
- After 5 minutes , add turmeric powder and mix well.
- Now add the pieces of raw chicken to the cooker and mix all the ingredients well using a flat spoon.
- Allow the gravy to soak in the chicken and then add sliced bell pepper to the cooker.
- Give it a good stir, add the water and salt to taste.
- Now close the lid and allow it to pressure cook for at least 10 minutes.
- When done, switch the flame off and garnish the green pepper chicken curry with fresh cream or a whisked spoon of curd.
