Masala Omelette Recipe For Breakfast

Masala Omelette Recipe For Breakfast

Serves: 3

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • Eggs - 3
  • Onions - 2 (chopped)
  • Tomatoes - 2 (chopped)
  • Green Onions - 2 (chopped)
  • Capsicum - 1 (chopped)
  • Coriander leaves- 2 tbsp
  • Saffron - 1 pinch
  • Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
  • Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder - ½ tsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Procedure

1. You first need to wash and chop the onions fine. Chop the tomatoes and the green onions as well. Also, chop the capsicum and the coriander leaves finely.

2. Take a small bowl, drop in the turmeric powder, the salt, red chilli powder and pepper powder. Add in the garam masala powder and mix all the ingredients well together.

3. To the mixture, add in a little water to the bowl. Now mix the ingredients to make a fine paste.

4. When the paste is ready, break the eggs into the bowl and using a blender, beat the eggs with the mixture.

5. When you see the egg a little frothy, add in the chopped vegetables to the egg and whisk it again for another 10 to 15 minutes.

6. Heat the tava on a medium flame and when hot, gently pour in the omelette mixture to the tava. Circle the mixture on the tava till it is completely on the tava.

7. Fry the masala omelette on the tava till it turns into golden brown in colour.
