WIFW 2015: Wendell Rodricks’s Heavenly White Styles

Handloom Weaver presents Wendell Rodricks at Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week 2015. The Spring Summer collection of this ace designer was magnificent. It was indeed a macho mania show welcoming the warm summer and spring collection on the ramp.

Designer Wendell Rodricks displayed an array of white pastels on the ramp at WIFW 2015. Models gleaming in the pure white shade were a major delight to the eyes. The show commenced with dancers dressed in black , but it was a surprise when his collection replaced the bold colour with just white handloom!

Wrapping day 4 at WIFW 2015 Summer Spring collection, Wendell Rodricks took us in trance. The ‘Yoga' theme was such a blessing to the eyes after watching a night with bling and bright collections.

The ramp was filled with white handloom patterns. Dresses of hi-lo hemlines, skirts with figurine slits, macho men in hot shorts, capes of white satin, simple a-line dresses featuring a variation in necklines and much more.

Playing with this simple and elegant colour, white,Wendell Rodricks transformed his Yoga theme collection with feminine pleated skirts to compete with cotton dhotis on men. The best aspect of Wendells collection on the ramp at WIFW 2015 Summer Spring collection is how he portrayed the masculine and feminine styles. Both the genders were focused in every aspect.

The dresses worn by the female models had intricate work on sleeves, fabricated patterns on the skirts and lots more. Men wore kurtas made of soft cotton and also showed ample muscles with dhotis and open button collar shirts. Wendell Rodricks collection at WIFW 2015 for the Summer Spring was a heavenly treat.

No doubt he lacked making use of accessories to go with the outfits, he however did a fab job in putting together footwear to bring out the yoga essence theme. Not to forget his rich cotton sarees, epaulettes, gauge linen kaftans were the highlight of his handloom collection on the WIFW 2015 ramp.
