ICW 2014: Rani Mukherjee Stuns In Sabyasachi

ICW 2014 had a very grand beginning last night. The first designer to be presenting his collection at India Couture Week 2014 was Sabyasachi Mukherjee. He opened the show with a regal collection that was titled 'Ferozabad'. The entire collection was presented with a backdrop of a vintage luxury train. And Rani Mukherjee was at ICW 2014 to support her good friend and favourite designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

ICW 2014 could never be the same without some really hot celebrity presence. But as the high profile fashion show is taking place in Delhi, Bollywood's presence may not be felt very strongly. However, Rani Mukherjee came to ICW 2014 all the way to Delhi just to be support her favourite designer. Sabyasachi Mukherjee's ICW collection was basically heavy on beige, nudes and pastel shades.

Surprisingly, even Rani Mukherjee managed to turn up in beige saree for the show. Needless to say that the saree was a Sabyasachi creation. She draped the beige katha saree over a black three-fourth sleeve blouse. Her styling was pretty decent for a change.

Here is a closer look at Rani Mukherjee's fashion mantra at ICW 2014.

Rani Mukherjee wore a stunning beige saree for the ICW 2014 opening show by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She draped the nude coloured saree over a black blouse with a plunging neckline.

Black Clutch

Rani Mukherjee carried a black criss-cross leather clutch with her traditional ensemble. If we are not mistaken, it is a Bottega Veneta. We have seen Kim Kardashian carry a similar clutch.

Diamond Studs

Rani Mukherjee wore single carat diamonds studded in a ring as earrings. This gave her a simple yet rich look.

Red Roses

Rani Mukherjee's hair was tied up in a pretty bun that allowed her fringes to be free. She dressed her bun with red roses.

Just so that there is no element of doubt as to what she was wearing, Rani Mukherjee flaunted the designer label 'Sabyasachi' on her saree quite proudly.

We really like Rani Mukherjee's saree and also her blouse with a plunging neckline. However, we are at loss to understand why Rani has draped her saree like a shawl over her shoulders.
