DCW 2013: Anamika Khanna

Day 2 of the ongoing PCJ Delhi Couture Week 2013 was wrapped up by ace fashion designer, Anamika Khanna. The designer presented a shimmering golden and lace couture at the DCW 2013. Aspiring brides can pick up some modern toga gowns and sheer sarees from Anamika Khanna's couture showcased at DCW 2013 Day 2.

The show presented models in sarees, thigh high slit gowns, dhoti pants in silk, cotton. Even heavy embellished jackets were accessorised with sarees, anarkali gowns and dhoti pants. Lace shararas with lots of frills looked different. Embellished lace blouses with heavy thread work were teamed up with sequin sarees.

Even Anamika Khanna used a lot of creamy white colour and golden in the DCW 2013 couture. However, we also saw blue and silver combo and red and golden blend on the ramp. Some golden maxi skirts were teamed up with lace embellished crop tops.

Anamika Khanna is very popular among celebrities in Bollywood so, we expected some celebrity showstopper. However, the designer wrapped up the show with an applaud. Here is a sneak peak into the couture of Anamika Khanna from DCW 2013 Day 2.

Cream and Lace Sharara

The creamy white coloured sharara style bridal outfit has lace work on it. The outfit by Anamika Khanna also has heavy frills. It has been teamed up with a matching lace jacket.

Silver Saree

This is an elegant saree shown by Anamika Khanna at the Day 2 of DCW 2013. The saree borders has heavy silver zari work and has been teamed up with a three-quarter sleeve lace blouse.

Embellished Blouse

Anamika Khanna's couture at DCW 2013 also showcased some heavily embellished thread work on the blouse.

Slit Saree

This is a fresh creation by Anamika Khanna. The silk saree has a thigh high slit on the front and has been teamed up with a floor sweeping golden jacket.

Lace Fishtail Gown

This fishtail lace gown has been worn with an embellished lace black and white jacket.

Black and Charcoal Grey Gown

The colour combination looks eye catchy. The heavy golden work on this gown makes it a perfect bridal wear.

Leopard Print

The blend of leopard print and golden hues on the sharara looks stylish. The heavy bandhgala jacket with leopard prints at the bottom looks fab.

Lace Jacket

The light grey coloured lace jacket has been worn with a silk saree. Looks stylish with the golden warrior necklace.

Dhoti Pants

The silk dhoti pants has been worn with a heavily embellished waist length jacket.

Bridal Lehenga

This is an intricate design by Anamika Khanna's couture shown at DCW 2013. The lehenga has black, red and silver thread work on it and has been teamed up with a lace full sleeve blouse. The net dupatta with lace zari work looks nice.

Floral Prints

Anarkali gowns in white with blue and red floral prints were seen on the ramp at Day 2 of the ongoing PCJ Delhi Couture Week 2013.

Golden and Silver

The blend of golden and silver colour brightened up the ramp of DCW 2013!

Red and Blue

These two colours were also blended in Anamika Khanna's couture at Delhi Couture Week 2013.

White Saree

The sheer white saree has been wrapped up with a printed blue cape like jacket. The metallic golden belt gives touch of a Gothic bride.

Printed Sharara Pants

Floral prints on sharara pants looked colourful. The sherara was teamed up with an ankle length kurti.
