Traditional wear makes a woman look like a true diva. Ethnic look is something that adds a different glow to the beauty of a woman. Western outfits make you look appealing but, traditional dresses make you look beautiful. This is why, Indian men love to see women in salwar kameez or saree.

Traditional look of celebrities become a trend immediately. When you see your favourite actress wearing a bright coloured salwar onscreen, you too get a similar one from the market. Kareena Kapoor: Both in Jab We Met and Bodyguard, Kareena Kapoor donned the traditional look with ease and comfort. Patialas became common among women when the Punjabi Kudi wore it. Even jutis came back in fashion. In Bodyguard, long kurtis below knee level came back in trend. This was in fashion a decade ago but, Kareena wore it fashionably with salwars and jhumkas. She was definitely a trendsetter for the traditional look.

Anushka Sharma: Most popularly known for her salwar kameez designs, this Bollywood celebrity knows how to carry the traditional look. The tall and beautiful actress wore bright coloured shimmery or embroidered patiala suits in both Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Band Baaja Baaraat. Deep neck kurtis in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi flaunted the broad shoulders and well shaped bosom. In Band Baaja Baaraat, Anusha wore bold coloured salwars in blue-green, orange-yellow, bright red-green etc.

Deepika Padukone: Who can forget the trendsetter of kurti and jeans? Deepika brought in the new concept of wearing short knee length kurtis with skinny jeans. In the movie Love Aaj Kal, Deepika wore bright coloured kurtis that were teamed up with denims. Trendy colourful bangles and jhola bags added a traditional touch to the semi-western look.

Vidya Balan: The actress's debut in Bollywood industry was with the role of Parineeta. The pure traditional outfits and the Bengali makeup of Vidya Balan became a trendsetter. Big red bindis, deep cut blouses and red saris were the hot picks. She is one of the famous celebrities who is known for her traditional look. Kanjivaram sarees are her all time favourite. That is why, you can see her in Kanjivaram sarees at most of the public appearances.

Prachi Desai: She is the new Bollywood actress who has brought the Bunty Bubli style back in trend. Prachi Desai made little modifications. While the Bunty Bubli kurtis were three-quarter sleeved with princess coat collar, Prachi in the recent film, Bol Bachchan wore three-quarter sleeves kurtis but in V and round neck. Bright colours short kurtis and printed patialas were fashionably teamed up with long jhumkas and bright silver bangles.
