The Best & Worst Saree Styles Of 2012

The year 2012 was a very special one. Before doomsday arrives, we must all dress to our best. That is why, all the fashion designers and fashion houses have put in their best to give us some of the best saree styles ever. 2012 was a bumper year for saree lovers. Not only did we see some magnificent saree designs but even new saree styles were invented.

The lehenga saree for example is a new saree style. It is basically a saree that is draped like a lehenga. Many celebrities were seen wearing the lehenga saree this year. While some looked ravishing in simple sarees, some of the best sarees were became big flops because they were not carried well.

There were always various saree draping styles that came into the limelight this year. Queen Khan (Gauri Khan) invented a style of her own. We saw her come to the 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' premeire wearing a weirdly draped saree. Whereas Bollywppd fashionista Sonam Kapoor looked graceful in an interestingly draped saree at one of the fashion shows this year.

Some of the best sarees of 2012 were those that were simple and not too gaudy. Let us also not forget that there were 5 high profile celebrity weddings this year. They too contributed to some of the best sarees of the year.

As the year draws to an end, let check out the sarees that you can add to your collection. There are also some saree styles that we best forget.

The Clumsy Knot

The Clumsy Knot

The saree may not have been so bad, but the way Gauri Khan has draped it is very clumsy. She looks like she will trip over her saree any moment.

 Rich And Creamy
