Aishwarya's Traditional Look At Cannes

In the 65th Cannes Film Festival, 2012, Aishwarya Rai is going traditional again. Yes! No flowing gowns with a train for the new mother. The Bollywood celebrity is going to wear an off-white sari with chikankari embroidery work at the Cannes red carpet. Aishwarya Rai is going to attend the festival from May 24-25. Apart from the traditional sari, the Bollywood diva is going to wear churidar kurtas for the event.

Even before, Aishwarya has represented India with her traditional attire. Check out the traditional look of Aishwarya Rai at the Cannes till date.

Yellow saree: For her grand entry to the Cannes Film Festival, way back in 2002, Aishwarya Rai's completely traditional look was both complimented and criticized. Her heavily embellished yellow saree accessorised with a big gold necklace and bangles turned heads around.

Green saree: In her second visit to the Cannes in 2003, Aishwarya Rai wore a green saree that was badly criticized by the fashionistas. Her stone studded blouse and accessories made her look unchic and outdated.

Lehenga: In the 2003 Cannes visit, Aishwarya Rai wore a semi-western embellished lehenga with a plain pink sleeveless blouse that looked better when compared to her green saree.

Sabyasachi saree: In 2010, the gorgeous star wore a Sabyasachi designed saree at the premiere of the film, Outrage. The heavy embroidery and a contrast sleeveless blouse with a middle line hair bun added to the traditional look. She teamed up the simple Indian look with a black eye makeup and a small bindi.

These are few traditional looks that this beautiful Bollywood celebrity, Aishwarya Rai has donned at the Cannes Film Festival till date. All her fans are waiting for the new mom to walk the red carpet again in the traditional attire in 2012 with her daughter.
