Easy Homemade Recipes For Itchy Skin
When it comes to skin care, most of the women depend on using homemade recipes to pamper their skin. Whether it is itchy skin or oily skin, using homemade recipes can help to treat the problem easily.
For people who have dry and itchy skin, chemical or artificial ingredients found in the skin care products may often worsen the condition of the skin.
Also, it may sometimes lead to allergic reactions. If you have dry and itchy skin with an overwhelming urge to keep scratching at it, you need to treat this problem at the earliest.
Here, we mention to you some of the easy homemade recipes to treat itchy skin.
1. Oatmeal And Essential Oils Mask
Oatmeal and herb face mask can help to exfoliate your skin deeply and also keep your skin in a healthy condition. Oatmeal helps to hydrate your skin, which is important to prevent itchiness. Take a handful of oats and add one spoon of neem essential oil, rose essential oil and coconut oil. Now add one spoon of your favourite herb and mix together. Apply this mask on your face and wash off with lukewarm water.
2. Milk And Honey Bath Bombs
In order to treat itchy and dry skin, you should be using milk and honey bath bombs. All you need to do is take half a cup of shea butter or mango butter. Now, add five spoons of coconut oil, two cups of milk and one cup of honey to it. Then, stir this mixture in a saucepan and allow it to boil for some time. Once the shea butter has melted completely, transfer this mixture in a mold. Allow it to dry and then use these bombs while bathing.
3. Oil Tonic
Using natural oil on the skin is the best remedy to treat any kind of an irritation and inflammation on the skin. Using natural oils can help to calm down your skin and also keep it hydrated. In order to make your own oil tonic at home, you need to take half a cup of coconut oil. Add one spoon of olive oil, three spoons of argan oil, one spoon of lavender essential oil and one spoon of orange essential oil. Mix all the oils together and store this in a container. Apply this homemade oil tonic on your body as well as the face. Massage for some time and then wash off.
4. Aloe Vera
Using aloe vera is as effective as other home remedies for dry and itchy skin. The aloe vera leaf is rich in health and beauty benefits and hence it should be included in your daily skin care routine. Aloe vera contains antiseptic and antifungal properties that can help to soothe the skin, hydrate it and promote its health. Aloe vera also helps to calm down the irritation and itching sensation caused by dry skin. Massage your skin with some fresh aloe vera gel every day to enjoy supple skin. Use this remedy twice in a day.
5. Homemade Milk Bath
Milk contains lactic acid, which plays a major role in removing dead skin cells from the body. Also due to vitamins and minerals found in the milk, it can restore hydration on the skin, thus preventing excessive dryness. You need to take two cups of milk and add ten spoons of baking soda. Now add two spoons of essential oil of your choice and add four spoons of corn starch. Now mix all the ingredients and store it in a jar. Add one cup of milk bath in your bathing water and enjoy. Use this remedy for 7 days regularly to enjoy healthy and nourished skin.
6. Include Coconut Oil
Using coconut oil on the skin can help to treat dry and itchy skin, as the high amount of fatty acids found in them can help to restore the moisture back into the skin. Take one cup of coconut oil, two spoons of lemon juice, one spoon of honey and add one spoon of glycerine to it. Mix all the ingredients well and apply this on your skin after a lukewarm bath when your skin is supple and warm. Leave it for at least 2 hours and then wash off. This method will make sure that your skin soaks the adequate amount of oil from these luxurious ingredients.
7. Lavender And Coconut Moisturiser
Combining skin moisturising agent, coconut oil with natural skin healer, lavender oil, can help to pamper your skin. Take seven spoons of coconut oil, add one spoon of aloe vera gel, one spoon of shea butter and one spoon of jojoba oil. Now add 1/2 a spoon of vitamin E oil and 15-20 spoons of lavender essential oil. Mix all the ingredients together and apply this on your face and body before going to bed to treat teh problem of skin dryness and itchness.
