The dark circles under the eyes are quite difficult to be concealed. These circular areas of pigmentation can occur when the blood gets collected under the eyes due to various reasons like deprivation of sleep, age, genetics or, at times, even allergies.
The situation can be worsened when these dark circles are accompanied with eye bags. As we grow older, our skin begins to lose its firmness, thus making the blood vessels underneath more prominently visible, giving rise to dark circles.

However, these dark circles are not incurable and one of the best ways to deal with these is an eye massage.
If you do not know how to massage eyes to reduce dark circles, then do not worry because this little write-up is all set to provide you with all the vital information that you need to know.
There are also detailed steps on how to massage your eyes to cure dark circles easily.
Under both of our eyes, there are small lymph nodes, which when stimulated help in getting rid of the toxins, lurking around the eyes.
Massage allows more oxygen to the area while activating the lymph nodes and it also helps in reducing the dark circles.
Massage also helps in improving the blood circulation and in increasing the production of collagen around the eyes, rejuvenating the skin and smoothening it out.
Here is a simple 5-step massage technique that will help you achieve the desired effect by simply giving your eyes two minutes every day.
Step 1. Begin with massaging the bones of your eye socket with your finger tips reaching down to the bridge of your nose, while keeping your eyes closed. Apply gentle pressure around and keep on repeating this for at least 10 times. This will help in relaxing the eye muscles and preparing them for what's to come next.
Step 2. There are two main pressure points around your eyes. One where your eyebrow meets the bridge of your nose, i.e., beneath the brow bone and the other slightly above the arch of your brow, near your temples. Apply gentle pressure on the first mentioned point for a few seconds then do the same to the second.
Step 3. With the help of your ring finger slightly press the inner corner of your eyelids, keeping the direction of the pressure towards your nose. Press for a few seconds and then gently release. Repeat this step for at least 5 times. This will help in stimulating the lymphatic nodes and eliminate toxins.
Step 4. Massage the area beneath your eyes applying gentle pressure while sliding and lifting your fingers towards your temples and then applying a little more pressure at the end point. This is done so as to flush out the trapped fluid and thus diminish the discolouration as well as the eye bags.
Step 5. With the help of your index and middle fingers make three circular movements at the temple, using gentle pressure.
The above-given steps are very beneficial for the health of your eyes and in dealing with dark circles.
However, there is one thing that must be kept in mind and that is if dark circles are caused by allergies, then massaging may only aggravate the situation, so it's better to see your doctor if this is the case; for others, massage will do you good.
