Ingenious Tricks That People With Combination Skin Should Follow Religiously!
Here are tricks that people with combination skin must follow religiously. Take a look.
People with combination skin will know the pain of it! We all know it, people with combination skin are the worst sufferers. Combination skin is neither oily or dry, it generally is a mix of both dry and oily skin.
If you have combination skin, you may observe some parts extracting oil, while some parts of your skin may be dry and parched. Generally, people with combination skin observe oil on their forehead, nose and chin area, whereas cheeks and under-eye area would be parched.
We understand your problem and hence have brought some tips/tricks which will help you to deal with combination skin.
1. Avoid Using Soaps
You should avoid using soaps, as it may make your skin look dry than usual. Soap dries your skin and causes further irritation, thus triggering other skin problems. If you want to wash your face, you should use a milk and honey combination cleanser or body wash because it helps to keep your skin nourished and moisturised. Stay away from fruit-based products, as they may lead to itching.
2. Toner
If you have combination skin, toners should be your best friend. You should use a toner on a daily basis because they help to deal with all types of combination skin. Toner helps to balance your skin by removing excess oil and dirt from the face. Further, it also contributes in shrinking the size of open pores.
3. Use A Moisturiser
You should apply a mild and matte moisturiser that will help to hydrate the dry areas and also mattify the oily areas on the face. It is very important to moisturise your skin after an equal interval of time, so that you are not left with an irritated skin. If not matte, you can also use gel moisturisers, as they perform well on combination skin.
4. Cleanser
Sleeping with makeup is a big no-no for people with combination skin. You should always use a cleanser, which will help to get rid of the dirt and debris from the face. Using a mild cleanser can also help maintain the level of hydration on the skin and also prevent an occurrence of acne and boils.
5. Exfoliate Your Skin
You should exfoliate your skin, as it helps to get rid of blackheads, whiteheads, and dead skin cells. Exfoliating your skin every day can help to stimulate blood circulation and keep your skin well maintained and polished.
6. Night Cream
Using night cream before going to bed helps to benefit your skin in several ways. Skin absorbs the vitamins present in the night cream, thus maintaining hydration and moisturisation on skin. Using night cream also works as an anti-ageing agent, thus eliminating fine lines and wrinkles on the face.
7. Avoid Touching Your Face
You should avoid touching your face too often, as the dirt from your hands can get transferred to the face, thus triggering the appearance of boils and acne. Picking or squeezing boils on the skin can enlarge the size of the pores and allow the glands to secrete more oil. Touching your face too often can result in the accumulation of excess oil on the face.
8. Homemade Packs
Instead of using artificial creams and packs, opt for homemade packs, as they help boost the health of your skin. You should pick up a homemade mask that suits your skin because it promises to give you a better result. People with combination skin should focus on using milk and honey quite often, as it helps to maintain a balance on your face.
