But, most of our skin care woes can be handled with ingredients available in our kitchens. Then, why buy products full of chemicals when you can easily and inexpensively deal with your skin problems at home, isn't it?
Honestly, most Indian herbs and spices are magical and we are lucky to have been blessed enough to be passed down this information, from our ancestors!
There is one ingredient that can save you from almost all skin problems, and that is fenugreek or methi dana. These seeds not only help with hair growth and dandruff, but also with curing a host of other skin problems.
It is true that methi dana can be used for skin lightening, skin toning, acne control, sun damage and even for treating serious problems like rashes and eczema.
These seeds have numerous skin care benefits. They are rich in nutrients like vitamin B and C complex, potassium, magnesium, fibre and iron.
Here, we'll be focusing on how to make a face pack to get a glowing skin, one that deals with a lot of problems at once like spots, inflammation, exfoliation and fairness.
There is absolutely no point in turning to expensive creams, full of chemicals, when natural products could achieve the same results. All you need is a little time and patience for this tip to work.
Additionally, there is no downside to them, as you can do this as many times as you want without causing any serious harm to your skin or your pocket.
