DIY Buttermilk And Oats Face Pack To Remove Sun Tan
The thought of spending the warm, sunny summer days lounging around on a beach sounds amazing, but you may hesitate to indulge in that because you may be afraid of sun tan and the possible damage it can do to your skin.
Uneven tan lines all over your skin, pigmentation, sunburn, etc, can be some of the undesirable side effects of a sun tan.
Prolonged exposure to sun rays, UVA and UVB radiations can affect the health of your skin and even cause serious disorders like eczema, skin cancer, melanoma, etc.
So, it is always best to keep yourself protected and safe from the harmful rays of the sun.
However, sometimes, we cannot avoid stepping out in the sun and tend to develop sun tan and pigmentation, which make our complexion look dull and dark.
Moreover, even after using sunscreen lotions, you cannot escape from getting a tan. It may make you feel quite self-conscious to walk around with tan lines and dark patches on your skin.
So, if you are looking for a way to get rid of the sun tan effectively, you could try the homemade buttermilk and oats face pack, which can surely help you out!
Recipe To Prepare The Face Pack
Ingredients Required:
- Oatmeal - 3 tablespoons
- Buttermilk - ¼th cup
- Lime juice - 2 teaspoons
Oatmeal is known to be a natural skin-exfoliating agent that acts on your skin to eliminate the dead cell layer and dark patches. When the dead cell layer is removed, sun tan and pigmentation also get reduced.
Also, buttermilk is rich in lactic acid, which has the ability to lighten your skin naturally, thereby helping you get rid of the sun tan and pigmentation.
Buttermilk can also kill the acne-causing bacteria with its antimicrobial nature and help keep your complexion clear.
Lime juice is acidic in nature and so, it acts as a natural bleaching agent that can ease away the effects of sun tan and make your complexion brighter and lighter with each use.
How It's Done:
- Add the suggested amount of ingredients in a blender.
- Grind well to obtain a paste.
- Empty the paste into a bowl.
- Now, apply the paste evenly on to your skin.
- Leave it on for about 20 minutes.
- Rinse your skin thoroughly with lukewarm water using a milk soap.
