Homemade Facepacks To Treat Acne For Men
There are several environmental, lifestyle and genetic reasons for acne problems in men. The forehead is the most problematic area on face that is easily affected by acne. Oily hair and dandruff are a primary causes of the development of acne on your face. Hormonal changes, that occur during the youth and even adolescence, within the body can sometimes cause acne.
Pores on your face constantly get affected and blocked as a result of pollutants such as dust. Since your face is mostly exposed to outside environment without clothing or protection, it is most likely to get whiteheads and blackheads that eventually results in the development of acne on your. One of the forms of acne that frequently occurs is red spots which could later form cysts, containing fluid made up of extra fatty acids secreted by the body.
SKIN TIGHTENING FACE PACKS TO TRY OUT
You can make simple and effective face masks at home that can be applied to treat acne. Most of the ingredients are available at home such as honey, salt, papaya etc. Such simple natural ingredients can be mixed to form face packs that help in treating acne. They can also be used as a preventive measure. Face packs help in moisturising and rejuvenating your facial skin and help in treating as well as avoiding facial acne. Fruits are the most popular and effective face mask ingredients that are commonly used in most homemade face masks.
Papaya Fruit Pack
You can choose to go with one or multiple fruits to make a fruit pack. Choose your fruit from banana, papaya, avocado, watermelon depending upon their availability. Mash one or two of your fruits and mix it with honey and yogurt. Apply the paste and leave it to dry before you wash off.
Cucumber Face Mask
Another easy homemade facepack men can use for acne is with cucumber. Cucumber extracts heat from body which makes it an ideal face pack ingredient to fight acne and inflammation. This reduces pimples and their appearance. The process is quite simple. Start by grating cucumber and strain the juice before you cover it to refrigerate for about 30-40 minutes. When it's cold enough, use the pulp to pick the juice and moisten your face, one spot at a time.
Mint Facepack
Mint facepack is purely herbal and give all the goodness of mint and also give you a cool effect on the skin. Grind some mint leaves, add 2-3 spoons of honey in a bowl. Apply the paste on your face and let it be on until it dries. Wash the dried face pack with plain water. Repeat the process as many times you can for a week to get good results.
Chick Pea flour
Another effective way to treat acne at home is by using chick pea flour. Mix in two spoon full of chick pea flour and a cup of curd in a small bowl to make a medium to thick paste. Apply it evenly over your face and let it dry for 30-45 minutes. When it's completely dry, dampen it with water and scrub it in circular motion over your skin. Wash it off and pat your face with a good moisturiser. Repeat it 2 times a week for a good effect.
Multani Mitti Facepack
This is a traditional face mask that has been effectively used to treat acne in Indian cultures. Made out of simple Fullers earth, which is available in most stores near you, it has lots of ayurvedic properties that treat acne. Make a paste of multani mitti with a few drops of rose water and a pinch of lemon for a refreshing facepack.
