Winter Skin Problems To Avoid

By Madhu Babu

Men no longer are outcast when it comes to skin care. Today's men take pride and care in having a glowing and good looking skin. On set of winter brings its own set of skin care problems. Men have to take extra care during winter when wind is dry and cold resulting in dry flaky skin. Due to lack of moisture in your skin, you get white itchy patches on your face and other parts of your body.

You have to make sure your body retains moisture by applying moisturising lotions. Prefer to go with formulas made for men in particular as men skin is harder than that of women. Hence applying moisturising cream or lotion meant for women will have less effect. Then again you have to choose two different lotions meant for your facial area and rest of the body. This is because skin is different on your face compared to rest of your body.

Don't be ashamed to apply some moisturising balm onto your lips every now and then to keep it moist and soft. You don't expect women to fall for your flaky lips that are full of cracks! You have to apply some moisturising formula at night meant to keep your skin from drying at night due to cold. One of the most basic thing we forget in winter is keeping ourselves hydrated due to cold. This results in lots of skin problems.
