Salt Scrub Recipes For Dry Skin
Salt is a great ingredient to make some simple and highly effective homemade scrubs. It specially helps during winter when your skin gets dry quite often and accumulates dead skin.
You can get rid of your patchy and scaly dry skin using some herbal and natural scrubs made of salt and other easily available ingredients that are at your disposal at home. It can be done any time when you are free and costs lot less than going to parlours.
These do it yourself natural scrubs help rejuvenate the skin and aid in growth of fresh skin by making way. It not only removes dry and dead skin, salt scrubs aid in removing dirt and toxins accumulated on skin.
It helps to scrub out dirt which might blocking pores and give your skin a new glow. As our skin sheds and grows constantly, removing layers of dead skin unblocks paths for new skin to grow.
Some of these homemade salt scrubs have naturally moisturising ingredients such as shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil etc, that help in keeping your skin hydrated after removing layers of dry skin. Apart from that, most of these ingredients being natural help in providing nutritional values to your skin.
The new skin gets to absorb the nutrients from the ingredients such as almond oil, herbs, oatmeal, grapeseed etc.
