Homemade Face Packs That You Can Eat!

Most of us go for homemade face masks because we think that they are natural and thus cannot have any side effects. More often then not, we are right to trust facial recipes that can be made at home with everyday ingredients. But, when you trust a facial recipe totally? When you can actually lick up after it has worked on your skin. A face mask is truly natural only when it is edible.

Here are some homemade face mask recipes that are delicious to taste apart from being very effective on your skin.

Homemade Face Packs

Homemade Face Masks That You Can Eat:

1. Brown Sugar And Milk Face Pack:

This is a very simple and yet effective facial recipe to remove dead skin cells and get clean skin. The worst part about readymade scrubs is that they contain silica (sand). Rubbing with the silica granules to exfoliate can leave your skin raw. Instead, mix 2 tbsp of brown sugar with 3 tbsp of milk. The mixture will obtain a soupy consistency. Apply it on your face and rub gently in circular motion for 2 minutes. Leave it for 5 to 7 minutes to dry and then you can lick up the sweet remains from your face!

2. Honey And Almond Face Pack:

Have you been looking tired for days? Then your skin needs revitalising homemade face pack. Make a paste of handful almonds with their skin and add 2 tbsp of honey 1 tbsp of curd to it. Beat it well to mix uniformly. Apply it on your face and let it cool for at least 10 minutes. If you run out of water, you can easily lick up the sweet and sour face pack to reveal your rejuvenated skin.

3. Chocolate Face Pack:

You can make your beauty treatments a really delicious affair by using this lip smacking natural face pack recipe. Mix 2 tbsp of dark cocoa powder with half a cup of honey. Add 1 tbsp fresh milk cream to this along with a spoonful of curd. Mix it well and apply on your face. Leave it for at least 10 minutes before you feast on it!

4. Papaya And Lime Face Pack:

The summer is leaving, so should your tan. Make a paste of papaya flesh. Mix 3 tbsp of this paste with 1 tbsp of lemon juice. Add a spoonful of honey to make it thick. Apply this on your face and leave it for 10 minutes. After it eats away you tan, you can eat it up!

Natural beauty tips give us an assurance that they will not damage our skin in any way. Have you tried any other edible homemade face pack recipes?
